Holy Guacamole Productions is currently seeking talented actors for a student short film called “Mora Azul”.
There is no monetary compensation, however this Project will be distributed throughout the entire 2010 International Film Festival Circuit, so this will be a great opportunity to gain experience and to build your portfolio.

Brief Synopsis: Every night, Alonzo, a young waiter keeps a piece blueberry pie for the girl of his dreams.

Alonzo- Young actor in his 20´s, slim build, preferably with experience as a waiter. We expect him to serve coffee. Alonzo is a waiter that hasn´t decided what to do with his life. With higher aspirations for the future,a very strong personality and a unique charm. He is very kind and friendly, but at the same time he chooses his friends selectively. Alonzo is currently going through a mini life crisis. He knows that it is time to move on with his life. His personal and professional life are boring him and he is starting to get really frustrated about it. Now it’s time for him to gather strength and courage to leave his comfortable life and take some risks.
2. Male / 61+ yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
August- a mature actor approximately in his 60´s. August is a successful businessman. He is a widower with no children to share his fortune. He started when he was young as an insurance consultant and later on he opened his own company. His business was always the most important thing. He married Sarah when he was about to turn 29. He was completely in love with her, but he was often too busy to let her know she was the love of his life. Sarah died of a heart attack while August was on a business trip. He was unable to get to the hospital in time to tell her how much he loved her. He learnt a hard lesson about life. He still regrets not being there for Sarah when she needed him the most.
3. Female / 25-30 yrs. / Hispanic.
Danielle- Young actress in her 20´s, slim but curvy, with latin indie look. Danielle is a latina free soul, unattached to any place or any person. She doesn’t like long term commitments and has been traveling around the world trying to find love and peace. She is a dreamer and also passionate about classical literature and indie music. She knows its time to move on and search other opportunities, but the magic and the peace of the city has enchanted her and it’s been very difficult for her make up her mind to move on. She sometimes wonders if maybe it’s time to settle down and start living a more realistic life. |
