Director: Barbara Larose.
Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winning play A Delicate Balance has been called one of the most disturbing dark comedies of our time. It is a beautiful and sometimes spooky exploration of the search for truth and meaning and of the fears that permeate our lives - a play that’s at the same time wildly funny and deeply moving. It tells the tale of a tense weekend in the suburban home of Agnes and Tobias, as they entertain their much-married daughter Julia, Agnes’ drunken sister Claire, and their fearful, empty-nester friends Harry and Edna.
Alumnae Theatre Company's production runs Sept 25 - Oct 10.
